⚡ SOUND LAB: SYNTHS & SOUND DESIGN ⚡

A crash course in synthesizers and how to use them to design your own sounds from scratch! Experiment with different types of instruments within the synth family — from analog and digital to various models of modular synthesizers. During the course, you’ll have the opportunity to work independently with individual machines, as well as create sounds together and jam!

Across 5 sessions this autumn, we’ll dive deeper into different areas of the subject:

1. INTRODUCTION: SYNTHS & SOUND DESIGN
2. OSCILLATORS & FILTERS
3. ENVELOPES & LFOs
4. MODULAR SYNTHESIZERS (I)
5. MODULAR SYNTHESIZERS (II)
You can choose when and how you want to participate, but registration is required!

- The basics of synthesizers and sound design
- Different parts and functions of a synthesizer
- Analog, digital & modular synthesizers
- Synth jam!
