Mikael Ågren will be singing at today’s Music Café.

Mikael’s unique strength lies in his powerful and wonderful voice. He creates a natural blend of spiritual songs and beloved folk tunes. His repertoire ranges from profound seriousness to heartfelt joy, with roots deeply anchored in the soil of northern Sweden.

Mikael Ågren lives in Vitberget, above Storforsen. There he lives with his family in beautiful natural surroundings on a small farm with sheep and other animals. You may have heard of him through the timber-built Russian Orthodox chapel he has constructed on the property (visible from the road with its tower as you drive by).

While listening to the songs, you can enjoy homemade pastries and coffee, pitepalt (a traditional potato dumpling dish), and light meals.

We have plenty of seating both outdoors and indoors. In case of rain, we will gather in the large Sámi-style tent (jättekåta).
