Öjeby Church

In Öjebyn just outside the center of Piteå, there is one of Norrbotten's oldest and most beautiful stone churches, Öjeby Church.

Construction of the church began around 1500, but during the 18th century the church became too cramped and was rebuilt into today's cross church.

Next to the church stands the free-standing bell tower, which is considered older than the church.

See the beautiful church from the inside, sit down and enjoy the tranquility for a while. You can also join one of our guided tours, for information and booking visit the website or contact us.
