Kvarndammen is a popular and easily accessible swimming spot in the Alterälven River. Bruksbadet, or “Bruket” as it is often called, is located in the scenic environment at the old mill in Altersbruk. The swimming spot itself is framed by a jetty so that it forms a fenced “pool”. The area includes a kiosk, mini golf and an outdoor toilet.
It works well to get around with a wheelchair both at the kiosk and the jetty.
