Hamnviken

This is a pleasant swimming spot in Hamnviken. The bay used to be part of the Pite River, but today it is a small, separate lake, which helps keep the water warmer. A bathing jetty stretches across part of the lake, creating a sheltered swimming area that makes it a bit safer for children.

Hamnviken is located between the Pite River and Älvvägen, between Öjebyn and Böle, and is clearly visible from the road.
