Her recording of Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto has become a global YouTube phenomenon with over 43 million views, and her musical expression has been praised by critics and some of the world’s leading musicians alike.

On October 29, we welcome Anna Fedorova for a program encompassing drama, darkness, beauty, and passion.

The evening opens with Beethoven’s *Appassionata*, one of the most powerful and dramatic sonatas in the piano repertoire. This is followed by Brahms’s intimate and expressive *Klavierstücke*, before Fedorova takes on three atmospheric preludes by Rachmaninoff.

After the intermission comes Robert Schumann’s *Carnaval*—a colorful and virtuosic work in which a whole world of characters, emotions, and musical ideas is contained within the piano.

Anna Fedorova is an artist with a rare ability to combine technical brilliance with a deep, personal musical expression. She has collaborated with leading orchestras and conductors around the globe and has been dubbed the "house pianist" at the Concertgebouw, where she has performed more than 30 times.

Now, she comes to Piteå.
