Papperssvalan is a poetic journey of discovery where imagination shows the way. Play, curiosity and seriousness exist side by side while the paper is brought to life, explored and transformed in dance. Where does an object end and the soul begin?

The title Papperssvalan stands for freedom and possibilities and the paper itself – a symbol of both vulnerability and creativity.

The performance explores the magic of paper, how something so simple and everyday can be brought to life and become something completely new. It touches on themes such as identity, daring to be yourself and the simplicity, but also the power, of creativity.
