Ankarskataleden - bike path

The Ankarskataledens begins at the intersection of Olof Palmes gata - Nygatan above Piteå Stadshotell.

The trail continues past Arena Norrstrand, where the Stora Nolia fair is held every two years. The trail takes you via Norrstrandsbadet out on a scenic trip along the Fårösundet and passes the Fåröbron and further out towards Räkstigens bathing area. Water views almost the entire way. Via Långskatavägen the trail continues towards Öjebyn and Hällan, eventually you pass over the E4 on a viaduct and continue out into the peaceful agricultural landscape on the other side.

Suddenly you find yourself in the middle of the countryside! The trail continues past fields and horse pastures before reaching its end point at the Hällan area in northeastern Öjebyn. If you want to return another way, you can, for example, turn off at Hällanvägen and follow the Norrfjärdenleden back towards the city center.

Length approx.: 6.7 km
The trail runs along pedestrian and cycle paths and in mixed traffic
