A warm welcome to YOU+ MUSIC: Build your network, get practical tips, and get closer to the music industry—completely free of charge.

YOU+ MUSIC is a major initiative by the Swedish music industry aimed at fostering a more inclusive music sector in Sweden. Now in its sixth consecutive year, YOU+ MUSIC aims to give all young people—regardless of gender, skin color, or postcode—the chance to successfully navigate the music industry by offering knowledge, inspiration, and opportunities to meet and network with industry professionals.

YOU+ MUSIC is for anyone who loves music and is curious about working in the field, whether you want to be an artist, work in marketing or events, join a record label, or pursue another role. You don’t need a concrete career plan to participate; all that’s required is an interest in working in the industry in some capacity.

On November 12, YOU+ MUSIC returns to Acusticum in Piteå for the second time!

The day will feature workshops, lectures, and inspirational sessions, as well as industry exhibitors, giving you a unique opportunity to explore the music scene and make connections. Keep an eye on YOU+ MUSIC’s Instagram and TikTok channels so you don’t miss out on program details, exhibitors, and live performance announcements.

Best of all? The event and all its activities are free to attend; all you need to do is register in advance—registration opens soon.

The project is funded and run by IFPI (Grammis), Fryshuset, Spotify, Live Nation & Luger, and the Tim Bergling Foundation, with support from various industry players such as record labels, associations, and interest groups. Read more at youplusmusic.se.
